GDE: Gas Diffusion Electrode
PaxiTech produces and commercialises GDE fuel cell components. A GDE is made by coating a gas diffusion layer directly with a catalyst containing ink. A fuel cell is made by assembling 2 GDE on either side of an ion-conducting electrolyte. PaxiTech’s GDE products are specifically designed for proton conducting membrane fuel cell systems.
The GDE product is particularly suited to fuel cell groups who manufacture their own membrane materials and who have no desire to become specialists in fuel cell catalyst layer deposition.
Our GDE customers may be fuel cell manufacturers and fuel cell end-users in all the possible fuel cell application domains (space, residential, transport, portable,…):
