PaxiTech's USB charger

PaxiTech has developed a new product, the USB charger. This charger can be used to recharge mobile phones, MP3/MP4 devices, etc..

Grenoble Innovation Fair 2011

The Grenoble Innovation Fair will take place from the 20th to the 21st of October 2011. Our company will be present both days in the Energy and Environment part stand 2011. This conference brings together innovative companies from France and all of the Europe.

PaxiTech at the Stuttgart messe

The PaxiTech company will be present from the 26th to the 27th September at the fuel cell conference of Stuttgart.

Paxitech at the FDFC of Grenoble

PaxiTech was an exhibitor at the FDFC 2011 (Fundamentals and Development of Fuel Cells) conference in Grenoble from the 19th to the 21st of January 2011. The PaxiTech products presented included the new generation of PaxiTech portable fuel cells as well as a new hydrogen storage solution in the form of an aerosol can. These new hydrogen sources are a result of the very successful FUI funded project « HyCAN » and their commercialisation should be possible in the very near future.

After SainteLyon
The “SainteLyon 2010” was a great success in spite of the very cold and icy weather conditions. The HyCAN team, reduced to 2 members, ran the first 2 relays of the “SainteLyon” trail. The PaxiTech 2W fuel cell and HyCAN aerosol system worked perfectly at < -5°C.
The “SainteLyon” was a thoroughly enriching experience for all involved, on and off the trail. Congratulations to Marian Chatenet who finished the 69km trail in less than 6 hours 40minutes with the new “ULTRA” headlamp from Petzl powered by a 6W PaxiTech fuel cell. The 6W PaxiTech fuel cell was also fuelled with a HyCAN aerosol system. Marian ran the trail so fast that there was still hydrogen left on his arrival in Lyon!!!

SaintéLyon Press Release

LIGHTING UP THE UNIQUE MIDNIGHT TRAIL RUN FROM SAINT ETIENNE TO LYON

New hydrogen storage units for fuel cells

A HyCAN team (*see project details below) will participate in the 2010 edition of the legendary nocturnal trail run from Saint Etienne to Lyon, the « SaintéLyon ». This unique marathon has become a reference in long distance running trails with almost 10000 runners taking part in the 2009 edition.
The SaintéLyon takes place at night time no matter what the weather. For this reason, the HyCAN team will be equipped with a headlamp powered by a fuel cell with an innovative mini-hydrogen storage canister. The runners will carry the ultra-light aluminium canister with integrated micro- pressure regulator around their waists. This system will allow the runners to be lit up for the whole trail and to run the race in the best conditions thanks to an alternative non-polluting energy.
HyCan is a research and development collaboration sponsored by Tenerrdis, a New Energy Technologies Competitiveness Cluster. HyCAN is funded by FUI (Fond Unique Interministériel - French Government funding) and is co-financed by the Département of Isère and the town of Grenoble. The project involves four enterprises from the Rhone-Alps region (AD-VENTA, BOXAL, McPHY Energy, PaxiTech) as well as the National Laboratory Institute Néel (CNRS) Grenoble and the certified laboratory LEREM Laboratory Montataire . The aim of the project is to develop a complete range of new mini hydrogen storage systems for portable fuel cells.

5th December 2010: SAINTéLyon

On the 5th December 2010, PaxiTech will participate in the trail run, the « SaintéLyon », with the “HyCAn” team. “HyCAn” is a project financed by the French government FUI program. The different partners of the project (AD-VENTA, Boxal, Institut Méel, LEREM, Mcphy, PaxiTech) have put a 4 member team together for the 68km race by night. It will provide a great opportunity for the HyCAn team to test their new hydrogen aerosols. Each member of the team will be equipped with a 2W PaxiTech fuel cell and a Petzl MYO XP headlamp. PaxiTech will also be supporting the solo runner, Marian Chatenet, who will be participating in the “SaintéLyon” with the new “ULTRA” headlamp from Petzl which will be powered by a 6W PaxiTech fuel cell. PaxiTech wishes all the runners the very best of luck in the “SaintéLyon” 2010.

19 – 22 September 2010: Progress MEA, La Grande Motte, FRANCE

PaxiTech shared a stand with Bio-Logic at the “Progress MEA 2010” conference at La Grande Motte. 2 brand new products were presented: a 20W planar fuel cell power source as well as a 25W electronic load for testing and evaluating fuel cell and battery performances.
