After a 2 year post-doc in Texas A&M Universityunder Prof Srinivasan, he worked for PSA Peugeot-Citroen on the conception of fuel cell cars and later at the LITEN, CEA Grenoble, where he directed a research group working on materials for low temperature PEMFC.
